This class is recommended for students who have taken at least one year of German and reached at least level A2 on the CEFR scale (Novice High on the ACTFL scale). Students should be familiar with basic grammatical concepts and be able to understand commonly used expressions, express their thoughts, give personal information, describe their background and education, and participate in simple and direct exchanges of information on familiar and common topics. In this course, students will improve their oral and written communication skills and engage with increasingly complex authentic language materials.
